Tracy
Horvath
Born in Winnipeg, Tracy moved to Toronto
in 1990 to study audio engineering. Soon after, she
began to show art and left the audio world behind.
From a young age, Tracy was inspired by the world of
comic book art. She continues to draw creatively from
that genre, even publishing her own comic book, "Monocide".
She has started her fine art career in the under utilized
field of neo-expressionism, and still continues to explore
that style.
Always concerned with environmental issues, she has
been branching into areas of more three dimensional
work, incorporating found objects and reclaimed material
into her art, often using discarded canvasses.
