Time flies! Hard to believe that we’re coming up to the end of our first year with the Broken Fence Gallery. The first feature show we held was in April and we have held five different, and very successful exhibitions since then. We’ll be celebrating the end of the year with a special “Holiday Season” show and sale. This show will feature work that suits this gift giving time of year.
Our Gallery has been a great way to make better contact with the public and our members. Some of the events we are planning for next year include our annual juried show in April, possibly followed by a photography show in May. We will continue with our group shows for member artists and will rent the space, in various capacities, to artists who are interested. Although it has been a great year in many respects, we are unfortunately unable to produce our "highly acclaimed" calendar. Our previous calendars are so well received that people are still requesting copies of them.

The cost of producing a 2004 calendar is still out of reach at this point, but we have been given some optomistic and interesting ideas on how we might fund a 2005 calendar. It’s a priority and we’re doing our best to get back on track. We have so much great art to draw on that it would be a shame not to get this dynamic and popular calendar published again in the future.
